Heritage Square Ribbon Cutting on Saturday, July 13!
Mark your calendar for Saturday, July 13 for the Heritage Square Ribbon Cutting! The ceremony will take place at 7 p.m. between the Summer Concert Series sets. Please note, seating is limited, so organizers are recommending concert attendees bring your own chair.
Heritage Square, now open to the public!
Heritage Square opened on May 24, 2024 to the public with tours led by City of Walla Walla staff through the new facilities. Visit this great addition to Downtown Walla Walla the next time you are in the area.

What is this project going to accomplish?
This project will transform Heritage Square into a centerpiece for downtown. The project will create a new place for public events and performances, continuing the expansion of public gathering spaces that have been created downtown in recent years.
Project Schedule
- Construction began in September 2023, and is expected to be complete by the end of May, 2024. Many elements of work are nearing completion including site concrete work, electrical work, stage canopy, restroom, irrigation, landscape planting installation, and Mill Creek Channel barrier railing.
